Looking for innovative materials for building and renovation projects can be a long process if you are new to this type of building or remodeling. There are many types of flooring that are ecofriendly and that are sustainable products. Bamboo is a great flooring product with many options and a great look. Cork flooring products come in pre-finished parquet tiles and pre-finished floating floor planks in more than 20 styles, patterns and colors. The cork underlayment, is built-in to floating floor planks, and is sold to the construction industry and to end users as a thermal and acoustic insulator in the installation of wood flooring, and for structural resilience in the installation of tile flooring. Environmentally Friendly cork flooring is produced using all natural cork products which are harvested with no waste materials produced. This results in no damage to the tree or the environment in which it is harvested.
ECO-TERR tiles and slabs are made of recycled marble, granite, and glass chips with a binder containing fly ash. Terrazzo is one of the latest innovations being used in lieu of marble and synthetic materials. Terrazzo applicators and designers can use an abundance of eco-friendly 100% post-recycled glass for a green building materials alternative. There are also other durable ecofriendly surfaces that are made from 75% recycled glass and concrete. These surfaces are as beautiful as they are innovative and are an ideal choice for any green building project.
